Well guys, now that the Super Bowl is over and This Is Us has ripped out all of our hearts  its back to the real world (and Bachelor Monday!!). I’ve been trying to figure out a good way to introduce you guys to all my favorite products and I think doing a product(s) of the week every Monday is the most efficient way to do it!

I keep discovering new brands from various friends and blogs and I’m so happy to say I’ve found Mario Badescu. This brand has SO many different skin products its actually overwhelming at first. I’ve tried many products but today I’m so excited to tell you about my favorites.

Mario Badescu: Facial Sprays

Recently I’ve been focusing on finding easy, affordable and convenient beauty products to use when I’m on the go that still make me feel as amazing as if I did my 10+ step beauty routine. My favorites this week are these perfect facial sprays by Mario Badescu. I’ve tried and fallen in love with all three on the market and I hope you guys will too.

As I mentioned in my Lush blog post last week, I love using facial spray before I moisturize. I think adding the extra liquid from a spray helps glide your moisturizer on (so you don’t tug on your skin) and also helps to keep your skin hydrated and youthful. Any of these three facial sprays are great for morning, night or throughout the day to refresh your skin (though I tend to use each one at different points in my day). I spray these on my face, neck, chest and even in my hair before bed and in the morning to give me that extra boost of hydration we all need.

Each of these sprays serve different purposes and can be used for so many different things. They come in three different sizes, travel size (2oz), regular bottle (4oz) and large bottle (8oz). You can find these online here on the Mario Badescu website and they are also sold in stores at Nordstrom, BlueMercury, Ulta Beauty, Urban Outfitters and Lord & Taylor. These sprays are not toners but they are hydrating waters for the skin that are oil free.

GREEN: ALOE, CUCUMBER AND GREEN TEA

The green spray featured on the left is a mix of cucumber and peppermint essential waters which is so cooling and refreshing on the skin. Every time I use it I feel like I’m laying in a spa at a fancy hotel with cucumbers covering my eyes. This spray helps to balance the pH of my skin and also gives me that fresh clean feeling since I normally use it right after I’ve dried off from showering. WARNING: It does smell like cucumber so if you do not like them I highly suggest you steer clear of this one (but for real if you do like them it is amazing). I like to use this spray as a mid-day refresh, especially if I’m having a long day. I have no problem spraying this on right over my makeup and it gives me a nice dewy finish when my makeup starts to look less glamours around 3pm (so basically when I feel like I NEED a nap). Other than that I spray this on right after I get out of the shower after I’ve cleansed and exfoliated my face and neck. This spray is revitalizing and yummy. I definitely recommend checking it out.

PURPLE: ALOE, CHAMOMILE AND LAVENDER

The purple bottle just came out and is my absolute favorite of the three (maybe because I’m OBSESSED with lavender). Chamomile, Vitamin C, and Lavender essential water mix together in this spray to brighten and sooth your face all at once. This spray is my favorite to use before bed or when I just need to take a chill pill. I spray this on my face before AND after I moisturize at night just so I make sure I can smell it while I fall asleep. This is the most calming scent I’ve found for a facial product and it has honestly improved my sleep. I do use it throughout the day as well, it really just depends on my mood. I do think this spray helps to balance my complexion and calm down my redness that I constantly combat. I’m such a fan!! I do not think this spray is on the Mario Budescu website yet but I picked mine up at Ulta Beauty. Buy it. Use it. Love it.

PINK: ALOE, HERBS AND ROSEWATER

The pink rose spray is the first Mario Badescu spray I purchased and it obviously made a lasting impression because I bought two more! This spray is a mix of herbal and botanical extracts; Aloe Vera, Gardenia, Rose, Bladderwrack and Thyme to be exact. I first stumbled upon this spray because one of my favorite and most prestigious morning show host’s used it in a makeup Instagram Live, @girlwithnojob (give her a follow for some premium content). She talked me into buying this spray and now I can’t get enough of the sprays. Personally this is my least favorite of the three because I hate the smell of gardenia and I honestly kind of hate the smell of rose too, but I know it has so many calming and brightening qualities so I still do use it immediately preceding my moisturizer application (so I don’t have to smell it for more than a minute). My face is red all of the time and rose water helps immensely with redness. If you are also trying to combat redness I would recommend this spray as well as the purple Aloe, Chamomile and Lavender Spray above.

If you have any questions about these three sprays or Mario Badescu products in general don’t hesitate to message me! I love sharing all my beauty finds with you all and I hope I’m exposing everyone to new products! These sprays are all great to use for a dewy finish to your makeup, as a base before you moisturize and just as a daily refresh. If you do check them out let me know what you think (if anything try the Lavendar!!! You won’t regret it!).

Happy Monday everyone!
